We believe that it is important for us to serve where our gifts will be best used. We provide opportunities to serve within the church, in the community and around the world. Local Partnerships

The Hope Clinic: This organization is a medical pregnancy care facility. They have volunteer positions open for both Men and Women. If you are interested, give them a call at 260-589-3561.


A Better Life - Brianna's Hope: Meetings take place on Thursdays, with a meal at 6 p.m. and the meeting following from 6:30-8 p.m. Brianna's Hope is a participant driven, faith-based, and compassion filled support and recovery movement for those battling the battle with substance use disorder. Contact our Connections Pastor, Michael Baer, with questions.


Boys & Girls Club: One hour a week, one personal relationship, makes a difference in one life! Will you be one? For information on how you can be the one to make a difference, contact them at 260-589-8365.


The Crossing: The Crossing heavily emphasizes character development. They meet students where they are, form relationships with them, and use those relationships to model and instruct positive behavior.


United: United seeks to minister the love of Christ in tangible ways to some of the most hurting and at-risk families in out community. By working together with other believers from throughout our region, United provides a place for the Church of southern Adams County to come together and minister Christ's love to the hurting.


Compassionate Ministries: Compassionate Ministries is a cooperative ministry of the churches in Berne to provide a place for families to receive assistance with food, clothing, and other necessities, along with financial assistance and guidance.


Swiss Village Envive Healthcare: There are several opportunities for volunteers to get involved with the elderly of our community at Swiss Village and Envive (previously Chalet Village), from playing games with residents to assisting with bus rides around town, and so much more.


NeighborLink: Engage in the community by helping with projects that people need assistance with around town. Individuals can post items they need extra help with and volunteers can sign up to take responsibility for completing them.


House 1:14House 1:14 is for students in 6th-12th grade.  Their goal is to create an atmosphere where kids can experience a God-centered environment after school. Volunteers are needed to assist with after-school programs.


Life Together: This is a program focused on genuinely engaging a local apartment complex and creating relationships and friendships, and providing Christ-centered love and resources to those in need.


Adams County Jail Ministry: Each week, volunteers work in the Adams County Jail to develop relationships of mentoring, discipleship, and care for those who are incarcerated.
