Missions Week 2020

We took our annual Missionary Christmas Offering on Sunday, November 8. This is a yearly gift that we send to our missionaries around Christmas time, thanking them for all that they do around the world. If giving toward this, mark your envelope with "Missionary Christmas." Click here to give online.

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes were due to the church by November 8.

Filled Bus Banks can be dropped off at the "Bus Stop" at Children's Check-in at any time.

Global Missions

First Missionary Church was founded in the late 1800's with a priority on world missions. From its earliest days, missionaries were selected, supported financially and spiritually, and sent out into the world. This continues today with about 25% of the annual budget being designated to missionary support and missions projects.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8

Reaching out...

Jerusalem

We reach out to people in close proximity to us in distance, language, and culture.

Judea

We reach out to people who are close in distance but different in language and culture.

Samaria

We reach out to people who are further away in distance and culture but similar in language.

Ends of the Earth

We reach out to people furthest away in distance and different in both culture and language.

We Love Our Missionaries

We are supporting missionaries and projects that involve all four areas. This includes missionaries in local youth organizations, people teaching English in other countries, and medical workers around the world.
