God, His Word, His promises, and the Gospel will always remain unchanged and that is why we chose to Kick It Old School! We will reinforce this concept while we go back to the Bible through a totally awesome 80’s “old school” rock and roll concert environment!

Small groups are meeting each week for fellowship, accountability, service and fun. If you would like to join a group, contact Pastor Jim.

Youth Group – Each Wednesday from 7-8 PM

In youth group we are looking at life choices.

These include family issues, friends, dating and sharing your faith.

Come join us each week as we look at God’s word for the direction it gives on each of these life issues. The middle school group [grades 6-8] and the high school group [grades 9-12] meet separately to enable us to present each lesson in an age appropriate way.

CDYC [Central District Youth Conference] Fundraisers

2 fundraisers are being held at this time to help each student raise the funds they will need for CDYC 2012.

1. Entertainment Books are now for sale and may be picked up at the church office or from Pastor Jim.For each book sold, the student will earn $5 towards CDYC.
2. Free-will donation Spaghetti Lunch will be held this Sunday from 11 – 1 PM in the youth center. Students are to sign up for work times and all profits will be divided among the workers.

Tell Jim that you read this announcement and receive $10 towards CDYC.

The safety of children is a vitally important commitment at First Missionary. As a part of creating a safe environment for children at FMC, we use the KidzPro computerized check-in system on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. In order to be able to pick up children from their various classes, parents or family members must have a matching stick-on tag that cooresponds to the child’s tag.

If you are new at First Missionary, one of our volunteers will be glad to help you get registered on KidzPro and comfortable in using it!

Small Groups

We have twelve small groups that meet in homes on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday evenings. Continually open to new people, these small groups provide an avenue to grow closer to God and closer to other people in a safe, caring environment. Our small groups are focused on fellowship, one-another ministry, learning God’s Word, and doing ministry together. There’s a place for you in one of our small groups.

Wanting to grow as a woman of God? Throughout the week, there are several opportunities to develop into the image of Christ. Our MUMS program, to highlight just one, offers a way for mothers of small children to be encouraged and lift up one another!
