Sunday evening
Sunday evenings at First Missionary are typically aimed at exploring “God’s Story, Our Story,” a chronological study of the Bible. We are currently in the book of Jeremiah, dovetailing with 2 Kings. Through “God’s Story, Our Story,” we seek to understand how our story and God’s story intersect in the pages of the Bible.
The Power Source
Wednesday nights at FMC are geared toward engaging children and youth in discovering the difference that comes when we plug into Jesus Christ as our Power Source. Held on Wednesdays whenever school is in session, the Power Source begins with a meal, served from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m., with Power-Up Praise for children in Grades 1 – 4 in the Chapel starting at 6:45. Power Up Praise for the 5th and 6th Graders will take place later in the evening, so these students will begin in the gym. Other activities for children and youth, as well as various “Staying Grounded” studies for adults, run from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. The final Power Source of the season will be on Wednesday, May 25!
